Minimum age is 21 years. A valid driving license held for at least one (1) year is required. The driver must hold a valid Credit Card accepted by Supplier for all necessary pre-authorization amounts and settlement of final rental charges.

Only drivers mentioned in the rental agreement are allowed to drive a Hertz vehicle.

Yes, you may add additional driver(s) at your rental agreement. This can happen:

Either during your online booking process, select at the 3rd booking step ("Select extras") the service "Extra Driver".
Either through the Online Check-in service, after you have completed your reservation (Online or by phone).
Either during the process of completing your agreement, at the service point.
Either during the rental process, at any Hertz service point.
The additional driver must comply the rental conditions and have a valid driving license with him, which he must show before renting the car.

Τhe daily cost is €8 per day plus VAT. with a maximum of €80 per rental and per additional driver.

Upon pick up of the vehicle, Hertz will preauthorise an amount from the driver's credit card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. The amount of the deposit varies according to the car group. Specifically:

A, B, G, H, V1,V2: €250
C, E, I, J, P, V3: €500
K, M, Q, T: €750
U, V, W, X, Y, V4, V5: €950
